"The creation of something new is not accomplished by the intellect but by the play instinct." – Carl Jung
My background and leadership roles include everything from directing and supervising respite services to hands-on management and delivery of a full range of support services for both children and adults with developmental disabilities.
I have 20+ years experience working for Kerry's Place Autism Services and Hopewell Support Services, as well as contracting a significant amount of work with an ABA lens.
I am certified through the Crisis Prevention Institute as an instructor, as well as being a first aid and CPR responder. I have a BA in Sociology and Indigenous Studies.
Now, through a range of individualized services, I have created a place where parents have access to a respite program that engage their loved one in playful learning, skill-building, personal growth that fosters independence, fun, laughter, and a sense of belonging. My goal is to provide a safe and meaningful respite experience along with a break for caregivers.
